Set Mailroom Foundation |

|
The underlying foundation of the mailroom is composed of: 1. The mailroom properties. 2. A mailbox for the Installer. 3. Optionally, a Domain Default Preference Set.
Once the foundation is created, it will not be changed at any future point in domain EPA operations.
First, define the basic mailroom properties:
If you set Default Preference Set? to Yes, you'll see...
You can enter another Preference Set User-ID if you wish or allow the Set to be named 'default'. You'll receive a warning message if you selected 'yes' but did not provide a User-ID for the Set.
"Lock Environment" will record your choices permanently. You'll be asked if you are ready to do so. If you respond "No", the installation session will be terminated. "Yes" will cause the choices to be recorded; the button caption will read "Environment Locked" and the entire input area will no longer be responsive to any attempt to change the settings.
If SysAdmin Employed? is checked Yes, a SysAdmin mailbox will be created for the Installer's User-ID. Otherwise, a SysSuper mailbox is created. No SysAdmin mailboxes will be created because SysSupers are not permitted to create SysAdmin mailboxes.
If required, the Default Mailbox will be created.
The session is terminated and you'll return to the Window Clerk dialogue display.
You can create and maintain the Preference Set of the mailboxes created here using the standard facilities of the Window Clerk.
