Admin & Mailbox Keys

Top  Previous  Next

Every EPA Mailbox has a key which must be supplied to the Window Clerk when accessing mailbox operation support functions.

The mailbox key is retained in the mailbox's key vault (an encrypted file).

A mailbox's initial key vault contains a universal installation key.  The User can then change that key to a personal key using the Window Clerk.

Once the installation key is changed from the initial value, no means are provided to the User to retrieve the modified key value. .

If the key is "lost"/forgotten, you can reset it by restoring the initial key vault (that contains the universal installation key).  The next access by the User will prompt the User to change the key.
