Your CLIC b_MailroomSet allows you to begin one or more operations on the mailroom and displays

    _AOC-M

 

 

 

You select the operation you'll perform from the "Operation ?" list from the following choices:

       o Add Admin

       o Drop Admin

       o Change Admin Key        

       o Change Logging Ops

       o Display Environment

       o Show Mailroom Directory

       o Audit Mailbox Ops

       o Audit Mailroom Ops

       o Archive Mailroom

       o Backup Mailroom

       o Restore Mailroom

Display Mailroom Directory

 

The Mail Clerk's Mailbox Directory contains all current mailbox User-ID's categorized by configuration.

Audit Mailbox Ops

 

 

The Mail Clerk maintains the following records for each mailbox:

       o  Mailbox Transaction Log

       o  Preferences Set History

 

The content of each is described in the EPA Service User's Manual.

 

The Window Clerk's View Clerk's Records dialogue allows both record sets to be displayed side-by-side to verify mail classification operations.

Audit Mailroom Ops

 

 

The Mail Clerk maintains the following records for the mailroom

       o  Domain Transaction Log

       o  Domain Operations Status Log

       o  Admin Operations Log

Archive Mailroom

 

A complete 'snapshot' of the mailroom content is saved.

Backup Mailroom

 

A  complete 'snapshot' of the mailroom content and operational status is saved so that mailroom operations can be restarted from a know condition.

 

This operation is not necessary if the mailroom is RAID-mirrored.

Restore Mailroom

 

Content of a Mailroom Backup is used to restart mailroom operations.

 

This operation is not necessary  if the mailroom is RAID-mirrored.
