Preface

This manual's content is intended to serve as foundation for future development.

The document addresses two distinct but inter-related subjects:

       o  EPA process installation and administrative operation.

       o  EPA's integration into and interactions with the mail-server host system.

That portion which relates to the EPA process is 95% complete and will be modified only as necessary by licensee's modifications to exterior interfaces and functional enhancements.

The chapters "Key Concepts" and "EPA SysAdmin Crash Course" provide you with sufficient detailed information to perform your installation.

The remaining chapters contain in-depth information details with respect to operation and administration of EPA.  These chapters are undergoing final editing and will be released in the near future.

As of  initial publication, the EPA integration information and materials are specific only to a server employing a BSD Unix® sendmail™ operating system environment.  More extensive additions will result as the number of operating system environments expands.
