In a domain employing an Owner-appointed SysAdmin, the SysAdmin's SADomains and SAWanted criteria are accessed dynamically and applied in filtering the mailbox traffic, as shown below.
In a domain where the SysAdmin is the domain installer and appointed by default by EPA, communication with all domain mailboxes is preserved but the SysAdmin's filtering criteria have no impacts on the filtering criteria applied by other EPA mailboxes, as follows:
The EPA SysAdmin function in an ISP/ESP domain does not exist with respect to all leased mailboxes. If the domain chooses to operate a subset of non-leased mailboxes for its' own purposes, the entire domain can be operated as if it were one of the two organizational types described above with customer-leased mailboxes exempted from EPA's organizational processing. In such an environment, a Domain Default Preference Set may not be installed since no domain mailbox - organizationally-employed or customer-leased - could be exempted from EPA processing. |
