CABINET OF CURIOSITIES
If you're reading this now, you probably visit this site repeatedly. 30% of our 2006 visitors visited repeatedly for an AVERAGE duration of
just over 40 MINUTES - and about 7% spent HOURS here. (The other 70% scarcely took the time to scan the home page.)
You regular visitors deserve some variety and some relief from poring over the EPA technical documentation and precisely factual (but didactic)
prose descriptions. So, this "Cabinet of Curiosities" is provided to take your mind off of software for a while. Here you'll find:
Part of the charm and attraction of a Cabinet of Curiosities is a lack of organization that encourages the visitor to 'discover by
wandering around'. In that tradition, the newest additions will appear nearest the entrance and the oldest are pushed back.
There's no explicit political agenda or content in the Cabinet. Any referenced author's comments and opinions are their own.
There are many book recommendationns. I've read what I recommend. Be assured I'm not in the book selling business.
If you wish to discuss the cabinet's content with me, you can use anonymous e-mail to make the initial contact. Subsequent
correspondence (if any) will be by e-mail via your chosen box. (Incidentally, I'm surprised that more of you aren't using blind boxes to ask questions or
clarify site content. It's certainly easier to ask about specifics than to wade through my writing.)
