In order to install and utilize the EPAmail service, you will need:
1. A Windows® XP, 2000, ME, 98SE or NT4 operating environment.
2. Internet Explorer®
3. Internet access.
4. At least one e-mail address at which you can forward mail.
5. An EPA Mailbox ID and Window Clerk software Installation Password.
6. An installable copy of the EPA Window Clerk software.
You will receive the Installation Password after enrollment and registration of your EPA Mailbox ID.
The Window Clerk software can be obtained from the 'www.epamail.com' 'download' page. The installation package is large (7MB) because of the number of system environments in which it must function properly. You can expect that the download will take about 3 minutes with DSL access and 22 minutes with 56K modem access.
During installation, the requisite software - 200KB - will be installed in a 'Program Files\Pragmas\EPA' folder. This folder will also be used by the Window Clerk software as local storage for data relating to each EPA Mail Room and each EPA Mailbox which this Window Clerk accesses.
The EPA Mail Clerk is currently installed and operating at 'EPAmail.com' mail server's host system - the 'EPAmail Mail Room'.
Your EPA Window Clerk software is configured to access that and only that EPA Mail Room.
