At the EPA Mail Room, the Mail Clerk and the Window Clerk maintain four sets of processing-related information to detail and record their operations for each domain Mailbox ID - including the Default Mailbox if present:
l Current Preferences Set - the Preferences Set which is being applied to process mail traffic.
l Mail Traffic Log
l Preferences Set History
l Domain Group Directory
A Domain Mail Traffic Log is maintained to detail all processing performed by the EPA Mail Clerk on incoming domain e-mail.
A Group Mail Traffic Log and a Group Preferences Set History is maintained to detail all processing operations performed by the EPA Mail Clerk on incoming Group e-mail.
At an EPA Mail Window location, the Window Clerk maintains a local copy of the Preferences Set associated with each Mailbox ID in each EPA domain that can be accessed from that Mail Window.
The local copy may be edited or uploaded for application by the Mail Clerk or synchronized with the Set at the Mail Room by downloading the Mail Room Set.
