A Mail Traffic Log entry is generated by the EPA Mail Clerk for each e-mail processed and contains 5 items:
l Mail-server date and time at which the e-mail was received by the Mail Clerk.
l E-mail envelope's "TO:" field content.
l E-mail envelope's "FROM:" field content.
l E-mail envelope's "SUBJECT:" field content and Mail Clerk Classification Stamp.
l Mail Clerk's classification and e-mail disposition action.
The record is appended to the Domain Mail Traffic Log immediately after generation. If the associated mailbox is that of a Group Administrator or Group Member, a copy is appended to the Group's Mail Traffic Log. If traffic logging is requested for the associated mailbox, a copy is appended to the box's Mail Traffic Log.
